Four river trip possibilities, depending on the time at your disposal, are as follows:-
Le Chateaubriand II - between Pont Chateaubriand (north of Dinan) and the Barrage de la Rance; there is the choice of a lunch cruise (12-3pm), dinner cruise (8-11pm), discovery cruise (4.30-6pm) and tourist cruise (12-3pm and 8-11pm).
Jaman IV- a one hour trip on a canal barge through the lock, St-Magloire Abbey and the ruins of the castle, under three bridges.
Hire of motorised river boats (up to 8 persons) on an hourly basis, directly opposite the restaurants and bars at the port.
The very enjoyable trip from Dinan to St Malo with Compagnie Corsaire, again from opposite the various bars and restaurants at the port (return by bus at the appointed time) taking in varied countryside and then, after a stop at Dinard, from estuary to the sea across the mouth of the Rance into St Malo.
