Welcome
St Malo, Cancale and the regional capital, Rennes, are all within a 35 minute drive. The sorrounding area is ideal for walks and bike-riding with numerous marked tracks to choose from within the village itself. There are many highly-regarded golf courses in the area and within a 10 minute drive is Lake Betineuc where one can enjoy swimming, sunbathing on the man-made beach, fishing, boating, kayaking and other water sports.
For shopping there is a retail site 10 minutes away, just south of Dinan, where all major outlets can be found, including the supermarkets Leclerc, Lidl and Champion, shoe, clothes and sports retailers (and even a MacDonalds!)
Kermaudan is an 18th century 5 bed detached house with an ancient oak staircase and oak beams throughout, a two minute walk from the centre of Plumaudan, an attractive village comprising a boulangerie, minimarket, pharmacy, two bars and a doctor's surgery.
The house is ideally placed for the attractions of the Emerald Coast, which is less than 30 minutes away which offers dozens of superb sandy beaches. Medieval Dinan is only a 12 minute drive, offering numerous excellent and inexpensive restaurants, along with its ramparts and picturesque port. The Fetes de Ramparts held usually on the third weekend of July every two years is an extraordinary spectacular of medieval music, dress, dance, jousting, falconry and legend.
